Another feature of the Vista...

It's no secret that Microsoft Vista brings with it a slew of interesting new pieces of hardware. There are ReadyBoost hard drives and flash drives, multicore processors, the new CableCard initiative, and new DX10 graphics hardware. To name a few. But one neat feature really leapt to my attention recently: the possibilities of SideShow.
Intended to enable a secondary display on laptops—which could show CD/DVD information, RSS feeds, email, and more—the SideShow feature has led to the development of actual peripherals, not just extra embedded screens.
